Brighton Urban Art Auction August 23rd 2008, by manty on Feb 23, 2008 17:38:58 GMT 1, Sounds cool, an urban auction in Brighton :-)
A few questions
Who are you? Why apart from the saving in sellers fees should I trust my stuff to you? Where is it in Brighton? Viewing? Insurance? Marketing?
I am sure there are more questions I havnt asked like .........................?
Good luck

Brighton Urban Art Auction August 23rd 2008, by Avian Security on Feb 23, 2008 19:09:43 GMT 1, I might be less sceptical if there was a website, postal address, or more than one post to go by.

Brighton Urban Art Auction August 23rd 2008, by brightonurbanart on Feb 23, 2008 21:59:10 GMT 1, Hi all and thanks for the interest.
Just to answer a few of your questions.
1. The website will launch in May. 2. The venue will be revealed via the site 6 weeks before the auction. It will be in Brighton, and it will be large. 3. To keep up to date please register at buaa08.proboards49.com/index.cgi until the website is up and running. 4. Please refer to our proboard for details of confirmed pieces. Not too many yet, and of course without 100 quality lots there will be no event! 5. Viewing will take place at the venue for 3 days before the auction, and of course the online catalogue will have images, as will invaluable and ATG closer to the time. 6. The auction will be marketed via invaluable, ATG, newspaper/radio, contacts darling. 7. Fully insured as you would expect.
Please register at buaa08.proboards49.com/index.cgi and voice your further concerns and questions there. Thank you.

Brighton Urban Art Auction August 23rd 2008, by uac on Feb 24, 2008 0:22:12 GMT 1, The credibility of a large auction house supersedes the discounted fees, or whatever else. Ebay is an auction, big wow.
The only urban art auction that matter are Bonhams and Sotherbys, end of.

I actually work in Brighton so have an interest here but i don't like shady dealings. Please try and win me (and everyone else of course) over with honest, open discussion without referring me to a proboard that i can't see without giving you my details.
