Soup Can (coloured) stamped on the right??, by classy on Feb 27, 2008 17:07:33 GMT 1, Has anyone ever seen a coloured soup can where the signature and the stamp are both on the right?
This thread states that all of them were signed on the right but stamped on the left:
banksyforum.proboards82.com/index.cgi?board=colouredsoupcan&action=display&thread=1138359251
And I have recently been offered one that is signed and stamped on the right. I also know that some fakes of this print were acknowledged by POW some months ago and it is making me extra cautious.
I thought one of the more knowledgable members of the board could set my mind at ease or confirm my suspicions. Any help you can provide is much appreciated, either here or via PM. Many thanks.

I wouldnt take everything in that section as gospel, there have been alot of variation in stamping and signing that are not covered in the section ( it can work well as a guide, but not a definitive)

Soup Can (coloured) stamped on the right??, by leumasdarnley on Feb 27, 2008 17:12:34 GMT 1, I think with many of the prints stamps were found on both sides so I wouldn't consider this a huge red flag. Verify the prov with POW that will confirm or deny your fears.

Yes, I have contacted POW of course. I just expect it will take some time for Dora to sort through the records and I thought if someone here had seen this before it would be enough for me until I hear back. You are probably right though they will tell me for sure.

Soup Can (coloured) stamped on the right??, by Heavyconsumer on Feb 28, 2008 0:38:23 GMT 1, There's only one way to be certain: That is to meet the seller at POW. Even if all the COA checks out, this can be duplicated, as another poster found to his horror recently with a "have a nice day". If you don't want to take any risks at all, take it in. Otherwise whatever checks you do, just bare in mind that nothing will be a 100% guarantee.
