The guy was caught near the door trying to leave with it under his coat. It was probably the first time that someone has been thrown out of a police station for stealing something.

Ok this is where is stands . Rough trade has CCTV. Spencer wlll trawle through the footage. Its going to end up with someone looking very silly / vulnerable. If you've nicked it, cough up now. All will be forgiven, if its back before Saturday mid day.
I necessary old bill will get called ... for starters.
Get the bust in to rough trade tomorrow and say it was your brother / sister / friend and he was fucked and apologise on his / her behalf.
Lets settle this shit in house. They honestly have full time serious CCTV, it just takes time, there has been an xmas party so no time to do it today but once someone is forced to go through hours of footage, anger will override peaceful sentiments.
Lets have a happy ending, huh ? Tick tock ....
Before midday, sat , i guarantee safe passage. After , every footage we have goes international.

It must have been taken quite late on, as it was on the decks next to Weatherall near the end of his set. That was only about 40 mins before closing...

That's exactly how it was. They didn't know it was part of the show and are racked with guilt and have decided to return it......... and it probably clashed with the curtains.
