POW Vhils print photos, by snakes on Jul 1, 2008 22:53:42 GMT 1, I made the leap and paid £600 on Ebay for one of these. I’m pissed at having to fork out 600rips as I’ve been watching POW like a hawk over the last few weeks (I think my employer filters out their emails), hoping to pick one up from there as I think Vhils is class; something a little different from the run of the mill satirical stencil art. I haven’t really got the cash spare so am going to part with a Nick Walker Vandal Triptych, which I’m a little gutted about. Would be interested to know if others would have done the same, or have I completely lost the plot??? honestly, i think you may have jumped in feet first too early.... price would have come down in time imo
Bugger as I had one in my basket which I passed on to someone else. Had I known I would have been swap'able for that Walker print I would have gone to check out and placed my details there instead!
Still think its not a very good image (hence why I did not indulge, hate those two pesky kids in the front) although I am somewhat interested in its production process.

POW Vhils print photos, by South Bound on Nov 22, 2014 21:17:13 GMT 1, 2 of the 3 went back up this past summer. I picked up one of the "Nothing Lasts Forever", it is pretty wild looking in person.

POW re-released like 7 "nothing lasts forever" and the they were almost instantly listed as sold out. Then like 1 day later they reappeared, I guess people realized that they were not easily flipped. I watched them for like 2 months while I saved and no one ever bought them. Then I bought and zip they were almost all gone shortly after(I guess a few of us were watching).

Big fan as well, he does not get enough love on this forum... It's a shame.

POW Vhils print photos, by sgolby on Nov 22, 2014 22:09:06 GMT 1, I own the Unknown Icon, and must say it is gorgeous in person. Something about the eyes of the protagonist... they are sad yet wise... It really is beautiful... As I look at it more and more, I wonder whether it is Robin Williams... I am telling you it is in the eyes... does anyone know who the guy in the picture really is? S

Would have loved any of those APs but especially "Deform". VHils style is just so fascinating. Very stark and surreal, "Nothing Last Forever" has a very apocalyptic feel to it. I cannot wait to see what he releases next.

I do know that he tends to focus on the homeless or poverty stricken.
