Nick Walker • TMA Hollywood, by BlackRatPress on Feb 11, 2008 12:57:05 GMT 1, No Gallery For Old Men.
Due to overwhelming public demand and because you are young and vibrant and potentially armed with brickbats and cudgels while we are old and weary and creak slightly we have decided not to release Nick Walker’s Hollywood print at the Print Show. Instead we will be releasing it on Valentine’s Day, between 11am and 11.01am. Online only. That way we if no one’s sent you a Valentine’s Day card you can cheer yourself up with a lovely new Nick Walker print. Although, thinking about it, if no one sends you a Valentine’s Day card AND you miss out on a lovely new Nick Walker print, let’s face it, it’s probably not going to be a particularly great Valentine’s Day.
However, because we don’t want to kill your queuing buzz we will still be releasing the D*face prints, collages, Swoon etchings, Blek prints and one-offs at the show.
Thank you for your time.

Oh well not for me this time as I'm out (hmmm job interview or frantic keyboard bashing)...

Have a few packs but after doing the crude oil postcards, actually gf finished them after I threw my toys out of the pram with frustration trying to get mount and cards to line up, could not face trying with 52 cards and a few jokers. Also go a set of Bristol Pack.

Nick Walker • TMA Hollywood, by jonvespa on Feb 24, 2008 8:11:24 GMT 1, got this from carmichael gallery in regards to the nick walker TMA Hollywood print, intertesting part about the "reselling" considering so many have sold once or even twice already:
Sorry for the mass email, but there are a lot of you!
Thanks for buying a print at the Nick Walker "Pretty Decorating" show! Unfortunately the prints have not arrived from London yet. So even though it says you can pick up at the gallery starting tomorrow, we don't have them! The gallery will actually be closed all week for renovations and the hanging of our next show OUTSIDE/INSIDE.
I talked to Nick yesterday and he says he will be signing the prints at Black Rat Press on Monday, so they should be off to us early next week. You will get an email as soon as we know more. I'm sure we will have them soon. The few of you in the UK that came over here and bought prints we are still waiting to see if we can have yours sent direct, we will let you know ASAP. Anyone that does need their print shipped, please make sure we have the correct address and a phone number for you.
A note for those of you who have chosen to resell your prints before you even have them: this is your right, we can't stop you, you own it, but just be aware that we will not be selling to you again in the future. We would rather sell pieces to people who actually want them. Our COA asks all secondary market purchasers to register their purchase with us, so we WILL know if your print is sold and we will ask them when they bought it. Those of you thinking about selling in the future, drop us a line first, tell us what's going on, talk to us, we are nice people and we will be understanding and work with you if you work with us.
Don't forget OUTSIDE/INSIDE will be opening next Saturday March 1st with work from Adam5100, Adam Koukoudakis, Amy Rice, Brian Jones, C215, Chris Stain, Dotmasters, HaHa, Hush, Jef Aerosol, Kaleb, Logan Hicks, M-City, Mantis, Martin Whatson, MBW, Pam Glew, Rene Gagnon, Skran and a few special guests tba!
All the best,
Seth

Nick Walker • TMA Hollywood, by Deleted on Feb 24, 2008 8:25:08 GMT 1, thats a really good idea about asking people who buy on the secondary market to contact the gallery to register the print, by putting it on the COA. easy enough to get around now you know that to be the case, but at least it may make people think twice.

This will make provenance much simpler and is something POW should have done as well by now. If it's not registered then it will have no provenance and be priced accordingly.
