Xenz π¬π§ Graeme Brusby β’ Graffiti Artist β’ Street Art, by a4mnt on Jun 4, 2007 12:10:15 GMT 1, I've never had a chance to buy a popular print direct from a gallery - one that sells out instantly. I missed the email for Banksy Morons, it came after the event unfortunately.
So I was madly F5ing for the 'midday sharp' Xenz sale and hopefully got the limited edition 1 of 1. I say hopefully as I've paid through paypal and have a receipt of payment to Let Them Hang etc - but no confirmation from LTH.
I'm still buzzing now as I expected quite a few people to be going for the 6 that were available (a one off and 5 limited's).
Can't wait to see it now.
Anyone else get one???

I'm in the same boat as you with the 1/1 (and so is someone else on another thread), got the email from Paypal too.
AAAgggghh, was feeling all smug thinking that I had the quickest mouse, but we'll wait and see i suppose.

Were these prints PP/AP? You say on your site that you'll give "plenty of notice when the next full edition of 50 is arriving". Is this another 50 run of the Birds print?

We've been sitting on these few for a while now, and don't plan to print any more. They came into being when Xenz came back over to Bristol to sign the edition, and ended up adding his touch to them whilst down at our studio. Subsequent editions will be 100% unseen new material - and there is still only a total of 71 Birds prints in existence, in 3 editions (50, 15 and 5) and one unique print.

Firstly, I can assure you that all sales were strictly first past the post, with milliseconds making the difference. We have still managed to field 5 orders that should have been impossible to make, and I guess you're amongst them. We can only apologise, and will give full and free refunds to all involved just as soon as I can reach the guy who needs to do that.
With so few available, we were half-crazy selling them like that anyway but with so much interest, we had to give everybody a fair crack. Sorry about the disappointment felt, it's pretty hard for us to avoid whenever we sell pieces from Xenz lately.

From experience, they are a good bunch and deliver quality product, so don't let missing out this time put you off.
Xenz is obviously going a bit ballistic at the moment so congrats to all that got one.

I love this guy. Cheers to anyone that was fortunate enough to get this cool little offering. I'm happy with my 50 edition, but these new ones look mighty nice. This guy is doing some of the best spray work out there imho. Hope and expect to see more great things from xenz in the future. sooner would be ideal. especially his 'secrets & skys' stuff. that shit is fucking beautiful
