4 up on ebay right now... try putting in a bid for £19.
In other news, quickest MBW sellout to date... a record that was previous held by 33rd St (edition of 50).

Mr. Brainwash • Liberty Print, by LEVI C on Mar 10, 2010 21:16:14 GMT 1, If people like and want to buy this print then go and look at the works of Jeff Aerosol (or whoever really did it first). Come on...it's stencil art, the exectution is near enough all the same, you are buying the idea. Warhol *Statue of Liberty 1986 Andys' first Liberty was in 1963, He created many through the years. The above piece was one of the last, if not the last.
I kind of meant with a paintbrush/spray can. Thanks for that though great image

Isn't the only reason people have bought them is to flip them. I can't believe we will see many of these framed. Happy to be proved wrong by all you MBW fans though!

Get to the check out... sold out, betting half the people who got one are the ones that bad mouth his work... WHAT A JOKE!!!

I know, right? I mean when the Banksy NBG's print went on sale (Grey and Green) NOBODY put those on ebay for like months... In fact, legend has it that there was only one grey on ebay once, but was taken down for reasons unexplained... some say it was only put up as a practical joke by Banksy himself and then immediately taken down; some say that it in fact WASNT a grey NBG, but instead some print by eelus... spooky stuff mang!

Mr. Brainwash • Liberty Print, by bazzj04 on Mar 10, 2010 21:38:46 GMT 1, cadeeallow i actually like them prints you got there. Although i think the Libert print is very poor , but at the same time if im honest , i would most likely have brought this print (if home from work in time) but never planed to keep, i am guessing there is a number of people on here who are thinkig the same. I know and i hate the idea of flipping art to make money i dont approve of it but also at the same time i think and know i would have done this , basically i see this as a great chance for Art lovers to get a bit of cash easily and fast. I would imagine the majority of people flipping this will buy something with the cash that they actually like , i think this should, and has been used as a great chance for art lovers to get a bit of cash , hopefully knowing this is rubbish work but at same time see a chance to make a quick buck . Im all for it , It will all end up with people having work on there wall which they love regardless who buys it,

Mr. Brainwash • Liberty Print, by raiden on Mar 10, 2010 21:51:20 GMT 1, Randomly enough, I personally don't like the color Yellow. Never had, won't buy a yellow print, even if its Banksy.
That's my subjective opinion.
Objectively:
Can we all agree this print is basically Nick Walker's "Morning After" concept married to one of a thousand urban artists takes on the statue of liberty? Probably resulting from Thierry idiotically putting one of his post-it notes on a Nick Walker and telling his assistant to do something like it with the statue of liberty because he was in NY?
As for secondary market value:
One lucky sap will sell his for $600+, then it will gradually slink down to the low $400s, because no one will be willing to sell theirs cheaper than that - giving an artificial floor to the market as stubborn MBW fans opt to sit on the print in a tube in expectations of its rise in future value.
My estimate is that 40% of these get flipped. 50% sit in tubes, and 10% make a wall.
Then depending on how many successful flips, the perceived price for his next print will go up or down - and its a question of MBW managing his market - similar to any other collectible - from Beanie Babies to trading cards.
If he can continue having enough perceived value, the pent up supply of tubed prints will eventually make walls, and the price will start going up again from what market makers have set as their artificial floor of "I won't sell it below this price."

My honest estimates for this print... 70 percent will get flipped, 25% sit in flat files... 5% make it to the walls. 3 have already sold at the 'Buy it Now' price of $385.
