The thread has been done before, and as before its Radar rat as its the one that got away for me. The best and worst at the same time... keeps reminding me, the durty wee radar weilding rodent ( if that makes sense, but then again its better to have loved and lost than spent your whole life w@nking)

yes - It looks great as a print, and you can appreciate that some serious work went into creating the image. CND soldiers gets the most boring quickly and I never wanted a rat on my wall. Then again, the ugliest print ever award must go to Basquiat. Its defintely not 'pretty'.

The rats are simple, but to me, you can't get any more "Banksy" than one of those rats. Its like the man's trademark or something.

I personally like Queen Victoria....seem like a very old print now in comparison to alot of the post la exhibition ones.

so many great banksy images are peoples least favorite. s'pose its all a matter of opinion. but toxic mary/monkey queen/napalm etc are all imo amazing pieces that i would not hesitate to have on the wall.

For me I don't like things defacing the Queen's image as I am a staunch pro-royalist (that is another discussion) so has to be on my list of least favourites but others, with no such qualms, may love it. Christ with shopping bags has a similar problem.

Thats a real self fulfilling prophecy. Great position to be in. Its a position that only a few legends share, god being perhaps one of them.

I'm pretty sure Banksy did it. I seem to remember the story on his website (though it is no longer there). I believe it went along the lines of a graffiti writer, who has since passed away, tagging over the top of it exclaiming how shit it was. I think he wrote, "if it's better next time I'll leave it". Banksy put this quote on his website (alongside the the picture of his new work of the angel in a bullet proof vest holding a skull) and commented that the writer who did it was not only fearless, but also an astute art critic (and therefore revealing how unhappy he himself was with the piece).
