Dan Baldwin ๐ฌ๐ง New Print Release โข Art For Sale, by psp500 on May 31, 2007 11:41:20 GMT 1, It seems like a lot of the band related prints don't sell that well - hewlett's gorillaz, insect's dj shadow stuff and stanley donwood's radio head related prints. Maybe its musical tastes, personal tastes or whatever. They don't seem to fly out the door though.
I reckon insects kid sold quite well and has risen in value - the image is amazing. As for the multiple headshots and the others, just like in the case of Donwood and Hewlett, I think they dont sell because they are far too overpriced.

(any of you guys seen the train he has bombed to promo it?, quality! its going to be touring the country soon so keep an eye out!)

I've just bought 3 pieces, can only keep the Divine Revelations 1 & 2 though due to wall constraints, that's why the Triptych is going (I prefer the Divine Revs they're absolutely brilliant)
I think a few people are seeing others selling some so are panicking and getting rid - makes you think if they actually like the work...
I've also got a Black Horror that isn't making it onto the wall (yet) but I'm keeping hold in the hope that one day (when I move) it does. I had to sell my Holy Fuck as it wasn't going to go up (clash of tastes shall we say )
I think if people are offloading in panic then it's silly as Dan is here to stay and is a great artist

I called INK_D about the show tomorrow to make sure I'm still on the list, they addressed me as 'sir'. Forgot to mention I'm a student on a strict diet of pesto+pasta, spending EVERYTHING on prints
Pics shall hopefully follow tomorrow night
