I think you're talking about 2 different things there Walshy.
The light box ones are the ones discoduster is talking about that are reverse printed too (to make the colour more punchy as the light shines through), whereas the blue-backed ones are generally for flyposting to stop the image that the poster is pasted over from showing through.
Not sure that helps much - good luck with the search.

That's interesting. I did not know that. I thought the blue backed ones where for light box, to stop bleed. I love learning stuff.

There's been two double sided landscape Quads (40"x30", which were used in cinema light boxes) on the 'bay which went for ยฃ101 and ยฃ156'ish I think, plus the one that's been on there a while for ยฃ300. I may know a couple of dealers that still have a couple for 'round ยฃ185 (but you'd have to contact them to see what they have left and for how much, pm me if you'd like their contact info.).
The US fly-poster (single sided 27"x40" rat wearing starry glasses) 1-Sheet seems quite cheap and available on the 'bay, one guys got a couple of auctions for four with a starting price of $79.99 (there's a BIN price on them for $160). Single ones seem to have come down to around $30-60.
The most elusive poster seems to be the 'Shopping Trolley' double sided 1-Sheet, one guy on the 'bay had four but he was selling them with MBW posters with the BIN of $250 (I think). I managed to bid on another one and win it for $112 but it hasn't turned up yet, will post pics on the poster thread if it does. There is another auction for one that has just started, interested to see where that ends.
