Personally, I missed the release as I got sidetracked but think the best course of action would be to refund after the allocation was sold out, then prioritise those refunded for the next release i.e. give them the option to buy. Then sort out the checkout so it doesn't happen again.

You seem so bitter that I traded a $300 print for your $525 print. That's your loss, not mine. No one forced you to make the trade. I have a list of my prints, and yes I will sell/trade prints to acquire my permanent collection. FYI- Miss Bugs pieces aren't going ANYWHERE! Except to the framers and then to my walls. Are you calling me unhonest? Because that's slander, and I don't think that's allowed on these threads. It's funny that you mention the word etiquette when you have hypocrisy on your face. Know your facts before you post....I did not swap invasion, I sold it. Contrary to your above post, it was sold on Expresso Beans not Banksy Forum. I could care less about the email/pm messages you have from me. I never stated in said messages that I would keep or frame the invasion print. As for the MBW print and your friend. As stated, in said pm/email messages, I had knowledge that the seller I purchased the print from had multiple copies. As for the overselling.I think they should leave it at the normal edition and give refunds.I'm not sure about giving priority on the next print,if you get a refund it means you were'nt quick enough.

Since you asked I am glad miss bugs is offering something similar to those that it appears came in a little late. Personally I could care less about any number edition, seems as if they are gracious enough to realize their fans wanted a few more then they had, so they will do something about it and offer a few more.
I buy art because I love the image or what it says to me and for no other reason at all. Not for an investment, resale or whatever else.
That being said I did not buy this one, love miss bugs work and really love the capt america carrying a cross, there is a whole lot to that image in and of itself. But the superhero has a nil chance of actually making it on my wall, so I passed.
Just my opinion.

To accommodate some of the other buyers we have decided to produce another paper edition of 40 in a new colourway and will be offered to the next 40 on the list as an alternative to a refund...
Our apologies if you feel this second print run is uncalled for. But to due to the amount of email requests we felt we should do our best not to disappoint people. We felt that the fairest way was to produce another edition of 40... We'd be happy to refund anyone and re-offer their print to the next person on the list.

I have to imagine that the *opposite* of what they want to do. Im sure they want this to go as smooth as possible from here on out.
Besides, that type of thing is what the secondary market (and these forums) are perfect for.
I for one don't/wouldn't want to introduce any further headaches into their day.
