Vienna based graffiti & street-artist BUSK takes a reflexive approach to the subject. In having his portrait taken in public space (i.e. Vienna’s historic city center St.Stephens Square) by another ’street-artist’, BUSK’s action raises questions on the economic mechanisms of adding and siphoning value in arts and the current hype on the global arts market which accompanies present day graffiti & street art.

The black and white shot makes it easier to blur the details.
First the jumper, one has a zip, one not

"I took the photo in Central Park and sad to admit I had never heard of Banksy at the time. I was in Central Park on the May 17th. I was in the city to see an exhibit and went to the park afterwards. It was one of those moments where I happened to have my camera on me, but almost missed the shot. I walked by completely unaware of him at first and the friends I was with pointed him out to me. I wish I had said something to him, but he gave me a nervous look as I got down to take the picture and thought it best to hurry on my way. Now that I know more about him I am really kicking myself for not taking more/better shots."

B-Boy Kid (crossed): Water st and Jay st, brooklyn. First stop on the F train in Brookyn
Man with smiley posters (crossed): Bleecker & Bowery, Allen St (Bet. Canal & Division)
Will work for idiots: 
Statue of liberty (crossed): Long Island City ()
Door with Hand: at Atlantic and Smith ()
It would be nice if you can help me to finish my list. Thanks!! And who knows if some of the old rats (big and small pieces) are still there??
