Isn't that the point of this thread, to say who you're voting for?
The UK Election is coming up fast now! Who will you be voting for?

UK Election - Lab/Con/LD, by Sohoria on Apr 22, 2010 15:48:04 GMT 1, Seems to have worked well for the lib dems with the youth vote... Being truthful never really looked into lib dem policies and be interesting to see views on foreign relations tonight... Did read The funding for the trident subs etc thinking of downsizing?
Because of that interested more this election than previous ones and the thing if being honest what worries me is a hung parliament.... If we still had manufacturing base here in the UK then maybe cheaper pound would mean more orders but hate to see day after election run on the pound if that is even possible?
Debate has done one thing and that is got more people interested and surely that is a good thing... Term "hope" worked in the states but from these candidates i cant really see too much that is positive but things go in circles so sure few years from now uk will be back to strong growth etc...
(as you can tell havent really looked to much into candidates policies home and foreign so what i have said could just be misguided lol but good to have a voice!)....s

I'm not sure if there has, but if there is one it's going to be an economic disaster for this country

UK Election - Lab/Con/LD, by peggy on Apr 22, 2010 16:19:13 GMT 1, PEGGY NOT QUITE SURE WHERE TO PUT THIS, BUT HERE AS GOOD AS ANYWHERE.
PEGGY HEARD A DOG WHISPER THAT ALLEGEDLY CAPITAN OF RED HALF OF LIVERPOOL IS TO GO ON PERMANENT HOLIDAY TO PLAY KEEP IT UPS WITH FOREIGN FRIENDS. THIS STARTED AS HIS BEAUTIFUL, LOVELY, WELL BEHAVED LADY WIFE HAS CHOSEN TO STOP EATING PANCAKES ADN MAKE CLOSE FRIENDS WITH A MAN PLAYING WITH RAMS.
APPARENTLY THIS UPSET CAPITAN SO MUCH HE HAD TO BE COMFORTED BY GIRL WITH 16 YEARS OF AGE. COMFORTING GOT A LITTLE OUT OF HAND AS LADY NOW GOT A GROWING TUMMY.
CAPITAN WANTS TO GO ON SUMMER HOLIDAY WITH FRIENDS TO SOUTH AFRICA, SO IS TRYING DESPERATELY HARD TO STOP NEWSPAPERS FROM PRINTING SORRY TALE, HE'S WORRIED THAT IF THEY DO HIS BIG ITALIAN BOSS WILL TELL HIM OFF AND MAKE HIM STAY AT HOME.
BUT AS ALWAYS, PEGGY JUST A SILLY STAFFY AND WHAT DOES SHE KNOW ABOUT SILLY DOG RUMOURS.
WHILST PEGGY LIKES THE ELECTION, SHE FINDS SCANDALOUS FOOTBALL GOSSIP AS INTERESTING

UK Election - Lab/Con/LD, by Sohoria on Apr 22, 2010 16:33:38 GMT 1, wonder if that will be one of the questions put toward the candidates tonight?...(stranger things have been put to the politicians sure in the past...lol).
Hung parliament from reading would seem like less transparency with deals done behind the scenes which even though happens now would prefer comes out in the open rather than two sides getting together plotting against the other party... But more confusing can be minority and be in power (confusing for democratic society)...s

UK Election - Lab/Con/LD, by jakek on Apr 22, 2010 23:35:42 GMT 1, just watched the debate and made it more interesting by introducing a drinking game with my mates...
5 of us so each took one of the following and had a drink when it happened...
Brown gives an anecdote Cameron gives an anecdote Clegg gives an anecdote Any of the leaders says the name of the member of the public who asked the question Any of the leaders says "i agree with..."
worth trying for the 3rd debate...
