DOLK & M-CITY at Brooklynite - May 8 to May 29, by AFR1KA on Apr 27, 2010 15:06:39 GMT 1, I like the messy look to it, and the tiny amount of color that has been dripped on it  I guess it ties in with M City with that aesthetic, if the 20 edition was on canvas I may have gone for one.
Edition of 3 now sold out. I would not be surprised if a Canvas of this image gets rlsd at the show. But it will probably be a bit more pricey

Brooklynite is a great gallery and it is my opinion they are the P.O.W of Brooklyn back in the day 1998 BB (Before Banksy).

FYI- We just received the work here today for DOLK. The attention to detail within the stencil work is truly remarkable. The work has so much more than images on-line can show. There are many layers of work intergrated into the stencil image that are hand-done with spray and other various types of paint applied with brush, sanded and reworked. Impeccable pieces.

I had reserved one of the editions of 20 but the extra hand finishing and low edition size made me splurge a little and spend the extra couple hundred. These must be a steal if you live in the UK and convert it to pounds.
Congrats Afr1ka, nice choice. I would have done the same if I had the cash. It looks like one hell of a print - well, lets face it, an editioned original. Wish it was me!

I like the extra paint on the ed. of 3 but I think I prefer the cleaner, complete look of the ed. of 20 overall. As you say, both good deals for editioned originals though - congrats on getting the one you wanted. Good work Brooklynite too.

I completely agree, both are awesome. Also, judging from the pictures - stencil work dont get much better than this. Make sure to take a lot of photos when you get it home afr1ka

Bit suprised about the pricing on the dolks but im sure they will sell out eventually!!
