There are just a few prints left that aren't yet sold out--and she says that she won't be reprinting any of these pieces, so that'll be it for them.

On the plus side, it does sound like she'll still have limited edition prints occasionally available through art-star...

i've decided to close the shop in a couple days (!!), after much consideration.
not because it's not doing well, but because it's grown too much (thanks to you all)
beyond my ability to handle alongside my painting! BUT i'll still be selling prints through other venues,

Probably more just a case of a strong fan following and low prices, baited with the extra lure of a little newly-created scarcity.

Absolutely beautiful and caused me to pick up a couple of her prints. Love them, think she is definitely on the rise.

Ok I try never to be too critical of people's work whist preferring to concentrate on being positive about the art i love but on this issue I can't stay silent. Isn't this art exactly the opposite what this forum is about? Hasn't it got a cheesy 1980's perfume bottle aroma? Isn't it something your nan would love on her wall? Does it say anything profound and isn't it artistically unsurprising? Isn't this type of art exactly what the art of rebellion is not? I must admit I've got a soft spot for city girl 150, Candice Tripp and even Lucy Mclauchlan but for me this has just stepped over the mark into Woolworth's slosh. Am a missing something? Is there a history or deeper meaning which justifies this unusual banal 80's mediocrity?

I used to visit this place for all matters relating to banksy. WTF happened? It seems to be no more than a hotch potch of confused wannabe art collectors and a paste board for artworks that fall into the hobbyist catagory.

If it was just about 'Street art' we would know less about Antony Micallef, Guy Denning, Ian Francis...all fine artists.
