This introspective, confessional corpus of work, developed over the last 12 months whilst living in self-imposed exile in Paris, speaks of not only mortal sins and desires, but of fears and the acknowledgement of one's own absurdity.
Working exclusively in charcoal and graphite at a previously unseen scale, Joseph will open "The Anatomy Of Strangers" next week on June 13th, 5PM at The Old Vic Tunnels

Gutted as I have to go straight home now (the management told me if I didn't get my arse home by 8:30 I'd be sharing me dinner with the dogs..

Great show by the way and well worth making an effort to get down to the tunnels.
The surrounding and lighting, (although imo a little detramental to the work), added an extra dimension to Joseph's art and took it away from an unsuited clinical white space gallery. Loved the piano room and a the majority of the large pieces which were mind blowing both in scale and execution. A good selection of drawings at affordable prices and all in all a class first solo show from a true talent.
