This is my latest piece I painted at Paint and Beer in Amsterdam
Its a 7 layer stencil made with 9 different stencils.
It took me about 4 hours do complete, but that could be done in 2 (thank the Beer part for that ;-)
The skin colour was a hell of a job to.
It was great to meet a lot of artists i never met before ;-)
Thanks to all involved.

Yes, I am happy how it came out... just was very hard to do ;-) even buying the paint was hard haha.., did not know where to start with skin colours... I think I bought about 9 different shades of pink brown and beige.. in the end I used 4 different colours on the shading / skin colours.

@ Meexed, I understand your thoughts, But I have made these pieces with the up-most respect to the religion. I think you can see that in the pieces as well, in the execution as in the image it self.
It even never came to mind that someone would / could be insulted or disappointed or angry.
It may seem a bit strange but I have been raised by 2 old hippies ;-) And know more about the Hindu religion than most western people. And can tell you that there is a rare form of Ganesha that is the teacher and protector of the arts.
after I completed the piece the thought has come up and I have asked some people about it. and no one was offended or thought anyone would be offended. Ofcours there could be some extremists that could be offended, but they usually are offended by anything that is not extreme.
Also I have never had any negative comment or emails about this work. and it has been seen and asked for a lot ;-)
