Banksy at Glastonbury, by thetruth01 on Jun 30, 2010 14:42:20 GMT 1, I was working on site before the festival and there was a join in the fence that was left un clipped so some one could get behind the fence, when I went up there again I saw a man clearing away the tarp leaving load of masking tape at the top. We followed him and he went off site through the production exit near the bit of work. a few hours later someone painted three ninjas on it while the fence was still open. These were then cleaned off and a padlock was put on the fence (leaving one ninja on the top of the sign). Two more ninjas were back on a day later with the fence locked and full security. These were again cleaned off a few hours later again while there was full security. Security said that they had caught one bloke with a ninja stencil but had let him go as could prove it was him. There were also paste ups from kid30 (www.smallkid.co.uk) behind the fence and originaly where the banksy was painted so he must have removed them to do his work.
Also bumped into someone who said they had seen him doing some other work and he had someone with a blow heater helping to fix the paint quicker?
