I know this type of tile are designed to be very brittle so hope the attacker realised they were just destroying the piece and gave up as there is no way that would be coming off in anything that would resemble an invader. I'm particular saddened by this one as I really like the Yellow / black combination.

Not sure if he would provide the tiles but I did ask if I could just go ahead and reactivate one or two pieces and was told that a proper reactivation must first be agreed by Invader (and/or Orbi) and then planned and approved before it can even go back up.
I don't know if the reactivations are for the love of the art or the game but think Orbi controls what is reactivated so if it isn't done with their say-so or to their specifications then it won't be recognised.

I didn't understand the need to keep the locations secret but realise now that 'public knowledge' can be a dangerous thing and its better just to share with the people you know share your passion. LDN_150 is a perfect example of what some will do when they know a location.

Yes, whilst the standard looks good, the materials look authentic, its just that they aren't part of the original invasion waves and by someone else reactivating them at another time long after the originals have gone, the invasion concept is lost.
Some survive and some disappear - that's natural selection. It is annoying when they get damaged or disappear, but they are placed out on the street and this environment changes so very quickly. Like all street art, it should make an impact, inspire and then eventually at some point in time disappear - either at the hands of the elements, authorities, vandals, other artists, or someone trying to make a quick buck.

Also I was able to flash LDN_98. I had previously looked for it but as it is up quite high, and behind some building work hoardings I couldn't see it and assumed it had been lost. But today the sun was shining right and I could just about make it out. Its a tough one to flash, but it is possible! It has been tucked behind the hoardings for a few years now, and hopefully it will remain once the hoardings come down, in another year or more (although in the slick, sparkling city, I sadly don't fancy its chances)
