For reference The Joe Louis sculpture in the heart of downtown Detroit. A sign locally of black power as well as white power as it has been painted white in the past. Here faile has a take on this sculpture showing the feminist power as the fist allows itself to be painted pink. This sculpture to me could also represent the industrial strength of the union workers which women have played a big part of especially during World War Two at the local willow run plane factory also depicted famously as a symbol of strength with a clenched female fist.
