Didnt manage to sell prep darwings so will have to see if able to sell one of the canvases to help instead.

Looking to atleast try and keep one of these but will post both and see where the interest is.

64 portraits made over a single twenty four hour sitting. This is the first time I've put them together. I was going to wait until I'd put them behind glass and then thought 'Who'd buy this?' - so why wait.
As a piece of my work this is one single piece, not 64 separates.

I've set up a web-based store front for selling Guy's prints.
Normally the site will be updated with a new 'Madmen and English Dogs" print every month but it gets started with three.
These are all giclée prints on 96 lb, cold pressed, watercolour paper.
The paper size is 200 x 300 mm and the image size 124 x 167 mm.
Each is blind-stamped, hand signed and numbered by Guy to a limited edition of 33.
They are priced at £33 each. Post and packing anywhere works out at £20 per order.

"The 'Madmen and English Dogs' series is produced in tandem with a piece of writing that I started in the 1990s; the titles and motivation for all the drawings come directly from the text. The subject of the writing is both autobiographical and fictional; sometimes the two are distinct and sometimes they blend to the point where even I begin to wonder if my own memories are perhaps all just an imaginary collection of lies and justifications. Because of this, and also because I like to think I've a few more years left in me yet, the finished written piece will not be released in its entirety until after I have died. It's a personal exposition of my personal strengths and frailties in all areas. It is a history of both me and the time I've lived.
Sometimes the images will be illustrative and sometimes they will be symbolic. It will deal with subjects as wildly diverse as our daily lives are. From politics to science, faith to sex, art to sport - everything that has made its influence on me to make me feel the need to record a personal response.
The original drawings will remain with me as a personal record; they will not be for sale in my lifetime. The subject for my future paintings will all come from these drawings and they will, as with earlier painted work, be exhibited and available for sale."
