But I do think that RP acted in haste here. They should have priced the items lower to allow more people to get to know his work. Take Josh Keyes as an example. Despite his popularity and long waiting lists for his work, he's selling originals for $1500-$5500!!
Big mistake on RP's part. There is a catch-22 situation now - RP will get buyers at with these prices, but lowering the prices will not look good either. They do look amazing though - I wish I could afford one.

I like some of Guy's work, not all, and I own one piece, which I happen to think is one of his strongest (that I have seen) and I have no problem with his work being called "manic depressive, morbid, camp and faintly homoerotic artwork"... whether Guy does or not, but like Carlito said you could describe Morrissey the same way...
You should have just let it drop dude... the "insults" (if it is an insult, I don't know) like "giclee boy" make you look stupid... if people want to comment and you want to say something back, make it constructive, pointless insults (was it an insult?) are, well... pointless really

If I had 4k to spend on an original I'd take a Lister or an Eine any day. Or, if the money had to be spent on prints I'd load up with a few dface Hates and an unigned Jack and Jill - sweet
