Here is an impressive exhibition by C215, "Prophètes", wich is talking place in a XVIIth century chapel… His stencils are placed on illuminated stained glass windows… For a magnificient result! 
The opening is tonight and the exhibition runs until April the 30th 2012.

Really nice and interesting work! However, I preferred his stencils on wood panel, for the colors and the light, it was much nicer.
Moreover, the beauty of stained glass is that it's illuminated by daylight, shine or not, colors vary, change, move and dance… But in the stained glass of C215 the light is artificial, invariable, unchanging… For me, the essence of the stained glass is a little distorted…

The book, called 'C215 Street Art', will only be available at Signal in the UK. It is published by Pyramyd Editions in France and will cost £15. To give us an idea of numbers attending and number of books to have available, please let us know if you will be coming along.
C215 will also be bringing a small collection of new works which will be on view and for sale in our showroom. He'll no doubt be at work around Shoreditch over the weekend and has promised to do some work in and around the gallery.
Great chance to meet the artist and have a chance to chat to him.
