The painting is ok, but I think he could have done better.
Front a distance it's just looks like a face on a murky red background, maybe he will look back on this as an opportunity missed? I doubt it will be remembered as one of Charles best portraits.

Yep, agree, could have done it much better.

Just confirmed by the artist - inspiration is not from their bimonthly reptilian drinking blood secret ceremony but from the red swirling of a lucky flushed tampon that never goes down, as heard in the "Tampongate".

This is pure drama. Extremely weird he chose this color. Left me wondering if he’s is a republican. The face is fantastic however, spot on, as always.

As they were released by Manifold, presumably, they’ve been tiered and have always been exorbitantly expensive. That pricing structure prevents releases from selling out. Couple that with the average 50% drop in prices and I too, would certainly pursue purchases on the secondary market.

I think that may just be the original sale price. No Tiers. (At least according to the print page on Art Collectorz).

It's quite a pinkish red - maybe he's like his brother Edward and it's all been a front?!
