Graham H I think that has always been the case with similar pieces in particular open editions etc, remember this piece has been around now for 10 years and most that come up for sale are badly damaged. From what I have seen on the secondary market you will be hard pushed to find a good clean example with original proof of receipt. If something looks and smells like it has come of the printing press a day ago then that in my opinion would be an instant red flag. I'm happy to have a phone conversation and meet in person regarding the sale to help alleviate any concerns, an individual selling a fake is less likely to engage with a buyer in this manner so that again is something to consider.

Agreed, One sold on eBay for 600 quid with all the bells and whistles and prescription art had one for 1500 quid, standard gallery inflation.

There was a £3.99 first edition and a £1.99 last edition. The one you quoted must have been extra special hence the high price.
