No please don't say sorry, forgive me if I came across wrong, I'm just here dreaming of all these nice prints I want and hope for, so when I see them come up just wish I had enough to buy them, but sadly lately the prices seem to be so much higher than a couple of months ago, for me i can't even come to terms with the fact that coloured trolleys now seems to be above the ยฃ1.8k mark when it was around 1.3/1.5 mark back in May/June , maybe I'm just wishing too much...

But i too was also suprised by the price.. 1 off banksy, street piece... but i suppose its sheer size makes it a difficult piece to buy, store and keep. It's one for the back garden, but will most likely look sh1t there!
Wizzbong - nothing wrong with DB7 drivers at all.. was just a bit showy and didnt think it was the cleverest move rocking up, gettting in, driving off and then coming back to the queue in a DB7.

Banksy wall "ikea punk" on ebay, by wizzy on Sept 28, 2010 9:23:16 GMT 1, Its only a known safe piece to Banksy collectors / fans on here and in general as well as anyone who has seen it, although im still of the belief that people with that kind of money to spend would look to its future investment potential, surely no reputable dealer will be interested as they will know it has no Pestcontrol COA and that Vermin Authentication means nothing, and no serious investor will be interested for the same reason. Anyone interested in it who does not know about Pestcontrol will surely make pre purchase enquiries.
Authentication is everything / Pestcontrol authentication is the only one worth anything.

these guys invested a fortune in getting this wall restored and then having it on ebay for "only" 25k? i would say you better orchestrate a big show at a regular auction, or make your own auction event or you put it on ebay for 1 pound. 25k is a shiddy middle way...
and do you really need a coa for this very well known piece?
would you also ask for a COA if you would buy Big Ben, having left a big whole beside the Themes the next day you bought it? (would be interested if london supplied a coa to mr. mcculloch when they shipped the London bridge into the States).
and - if you could choose between a lenin on rollerblades and this nice piece, what would you take? (ok if you would have the space:-))

BUT WHO - who really LOVES STREET ART - would buy this anyway?
