Banksy is no different than tox (except that he has been excepted into the lower ecelons of the art world) he has thrown up illegally on walls for years , just because you rate one but not the other it doesn't mean one is right the other wrong, they both piss people off and cost money to clean etc. and as for your comments re: paying for crime and knife wielding thugs I pity you i really do , also what is this banksy is clever , tox is a chav business?

fair enough if you don't like tox's work (art is subjective after all) but it doesn't make his work any less valid. we might all like banksy's work but there are many people who view him in similar light to how you view tox. fortunately banksy hasn't stabbed any of these doubters...yet!

I agree with what you are saying stealfromwork, Toxโs work is the epitome of street art but is he devaluing this and his own credibility by releasing a print for the masses?
Where as Jboy considers Banksy, Eine et all to be street artists whilst Tox merely a tagger, I believe that street art is in essence something that stems from the street and Tox is the purest example of this up until now. How can someone so anti-establishment however, conform to release prints and the consumerist nature that this entails and still be held in such regard as an out and out street artist? Is this and any future print releases by Tox destructive to the allure that surrounds him. Surely part of his appeal and attraction was that he was only available where street art is meant to be, the streets.
Can anyone confirm if the print is just his tag or is this speculation at present?
