Wow, it seems that people aren't too into going to the vendor's website, or contacting the seller directly in regards to their issues. I guess it's a heck of alot more exciting and easier for you all to bash someone publicly, right?
Art is Art; f**k context. f**k s**tty dealers, and f**k the whining collectors...

Ron English ๐บ๐ธ Popaganda โข Pop Culture โข Toys, by Poppy Sunshine on Aug 14, 2008 9:39:52 GMT 1, I've been waiting 6 weeks since my cash landed in jetsets account. Do you seriously think that I haven't contacted him by every email, phone number, website and forum I could? He has just moved premises and has just posted the new address on his website. Well done if you spotted it before me but don't think I sit around f5ing his f**cking website all day and night waiting for the new address to come up. Thanks very much to all those who have helped and f*ck you to those with nothing better to do than come up with stupid comments. Yes I've spent big money, yes I'm concerned, yes I've tried every means possible to make contact, and yes if I wasn't half the world away I'd have been banging on the door to get a result.

Wow, it seems that people aren't too into going to the vendor's website, or contacting the seller directly in regards to their issues. I guess it's a heck of alot more exciting and easier for you all to bash someone publicly, right? Nice... I've been buying art for years now, and if it takes a gallery a month to get me a certificate or whatever it's no big deal... ...and as for the comment that someone posted that the Camo-Boy is worthless without the COA. If that's how you feel, then I wonder if you bought the piece of art, or the certificate? You know what I mean? Just shut up already and enjoy the print. Mine's f**king incredible!!! Art is Art; f**k context. f**k s**tty dealers, and f**k the whining collectors...
You should know that its been a 3 month wait, which is acceptable with some kind of communication from the gallery (term used very loosely) without any contact, totally unacceptable. Anyone who collects art knows the importantance of a COA, I would not purchase or trade without one, and contacting this gallery(that word again) for proof of ownership is nigh on impossible. As you say your print is f**king incredible, get over it, thats down to the Artist and printmaker not the guy selling them. and your final statement: Art is Art; f**k context. f**k s**tty dealers, and f**k the whining collectors... what a complete load of tripe. Ta

Get it out of the tube, get it framed, get it on the wall and enjoy the print. The COA is going to be seriously underwhelming once it arrives compared to the fuss made on here.

Ron English ๐บ๐ธ Popaganda โข Pop Culture โข Toys, by becksaboo on Aug 14, 2008 13:41:55 GMT 1, mine arrived today. has a certificate and a folder with all the details about the making of the print which is nice. I've also got my postage refund so everything's been sorted. I don't care about waiting - the annoying thing is not knowing what's happening.

Well, I've got the COA and production notes (no DVD) and am actually quite impressed. It's the 'not knowing what's happening' that's pissing me off and everyone else by the sounds.
The print's impressive no doubt and Dan, when we met seemed like a really decent bloke but 'Art' is a business and should be run as such - this IS a business its not necessarily art for arts sake, money for God's sake.

Ron English ๐บ๐ธ Popaganda โข Pop Culture โข Toys, by veralynn on Sept 4, 2008 21:11:43 GMT 1, Evening all, wondered if someone would be kind enough to share some thoughts around the value of Camo Boy now that the COA and production papers have arrived....
I might have one for sale, framed - the missus has always hated it but I love it and here's an original reason for sale....some scrote bastard broke into my house, nicked my laptop, camera and my Renault Clio Sport which even though I'm an old git of 37 I loved.
I need to pay for an house alarm plus baseball bat.

Best reason ever. I shouldn't laugh at shit like this, but I haven't heard the word Scrote for years. Hope everything sorts itself out man.

Please don't laugh cos it aint funny - laptop had 2 years worth of family pictures not backed up - irony being I'd pay for the return of the laptop that was stolen from me, paid for by money that I've worked for.......thks for your kind words, also thks for the PM which advised me that you need to buy that ball and glove - not just the bat....

In answer to the point in question - I personally think that ยฃ500 for this print framed is a great deal for anyone that finds the framejob agreeable.
Good luck, I hope you manage to recover at least some of your family photos. Bastards! (The scrotes, not your family of course)
