NEW Guy Denning - The Pharmaceutical Bestiary, by Daniel Silk on Nov 7, 2008 12:26:52 GMT 1, Just bought my print! I'd not thought too much of most of the denning prints, but this one really grabbed me. think it's one of the first that really captures the feel of the original painting, and being as i'm not quite in a position to spunk the money on a nice big original yet, this'll have to do!!
Yeah, this looks a particularly good print from Guy ;D good price as well considering its a very small run.

Yeah Guy's work has so much texture and shine thats its really hard to appreciate in photos. You really need to be able to walk around in front of a piece and see it in different lights and see how the light reflects of the canvas Quality stuff!

NEW Guy Denning - The Pharmaceutical Bestiary, by Standard on Nov 7, 2008 18:43:57 GMT 1, Sorry, I didn't have a camera as we went straight from work. Haliperidol is absolutely stunning, my fave by a long way, but also amph debs and especially monkey pump looked awesome. I was impressed with Holy Morphine too and Wasted Again.
Recommended viewing/parting with large wads of cash for the weekend.

"Art on Vyner Street, Hackney, London Vyner Street has become a hotbed of creative activity with artists' studios and galleries taking over from light industry on the London street. Photographer Thomas Eisl captures the party atmosphere of the monthly late-opening event"
