Last one we saw come around was without the wrap, pretty sure that one was sold privately and without the wrap it probably would have had some bearing on the price...

Sorry, but is it right to refer to an auction price back in 2008?
The same year D*face Cli-che on metal was sold on Dreweatts for 3.600 pounds plus.
Remember, two weeks ago at Dreweatts it fell through asking 1.500!
Also D*face collage sold for 8.000 pounds you get them today for a third and less.
The same year Kate Moss prints were sold for 100.000 dollars and more.
And though Im desperately after one even if I would pay only half of that price I would get one within a day now...
So let me know if Im wrong because then I easily would let go a few of my pieces and buy me an Aston Martin or two.. ;D

Re the pricing issue, I have never understand where silly offers kick in?
I guess its different for everyone, would a silly offer be within 5% of the asking price or 75%.
When I see no silly offers it kind of puts me off enquiring, maybe because I cant handle rejection :-)

I'm a big fan of D* and I really like this piece but no, I'm not interested in buying. As weird as it sounds, I'm having a discussion on a forum. topboy posts a Feb. '08 Bonhams result so you price accordingly. This says to me that you've been out of the loop so I thought you'd appreciate realistic input just in case you NEED to sell. If you don't then I hope it pleasures you for years to come.
