The minute when Sacked started up this thread I went to the website of Moniker and still I was able to buy tickets for Thursday night. I don't know if now is not possible anymore. I noticed half an hour ago when I wanted to check for tickets on saturday, I was directly transferred to see tickets website, but by a search I found tickets as well.

Has it been a year already? I thought SoS stole the show last year so it's a shame they're not there this time around. Anyone know about prints or other exclusives?

London is buzzing - it is almost the time of big art fairs again. We are returning to Moniker Art Fair with a promise to excite and push boundaries again. A junkyard themed installation will debut exclusive new original works from East London based artist Mark Powell. Reclaimed wood, oil drums and tarnished metal will become Mark’s playground setting the scene for his collection. Avant-garde pieces on found objects will combine text, bold brushstrokes, and his masterly skill for intricate drawing to deliver a fresh and exciting new series.

Faith 47 is opening a killer show called Aqua Regalia with Moniker on Thursday night.

Aqua Regalia or ‘royal water’ is the alchemical name for a highly corrosive mixture of nitric and hydrochloric acid that transmogrifies, dissolves and changes the most powerful substance – gold.

In Aqua Regalia, Faith47 further extends the possibilities of immersive spaces, enveloping the viewer into a sacred ‘room’ filled with collected objects and other intricacies from everyday life that – together with figurative paintings – explore the notion of the mundane as sacred and celebrates the discarded and unwanted as holy.

Her work is something that I either love, or don't care for at all for (ends up on either end of the spectrum for me). Faith seems to be incredibly cool and appreciative of the attention her work has gotten (when I've emailed her directly I've gotten exceptionally genuine responses that I've taken as representative of her genuine passion for what she does). I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can eventually find a piece that ticks all the boxes for me...she is definitely the kind of artist I would love to support and I would be very happy to have one of her pieces on the wall.

Would love to see a preview if someone wouldn't mind forwarding to me.

Certainly some huge canvases. I think the jump in price was a bit steep. I do think she is that talented. I just hope her collector base is strong enough to present her with a sell out.
