IMO its great, what a fantastic bit of exposure for him, and its the Simpsons!!! a classic of our times and one of the most loved programs around the world. Great stuff.

i like the concept though, don't get me wrong. i just think anything by banksy is a key to people saying its brilliant without looking at what it means first.

1. Banksy has always used a lot of humour in his work, and why wouldn't/shouldn't he jump at the chance at working on The Simpsons!?
2. It was never going to be his most hard hitting political statement, as it obviously has to be fairly mainstream, but he did a good job and there's some lovely touches. I love the Unicorn, especially as he just released his own DVD, and the logo as the Prison at the end.
I think it covers fairly old ground, but what a platform to use, and a nice knock at the industry behind the entertainment, even if it's done in a slightly silly way.
I can get why people might not like this, selling out, etc, but here's my 2 cents:

... which for me is something about how banksy seems to be evolving. no longer an artist, but moving towards a brand, which means becoming more closely aligned with the corporate machine...

It's like McDonald's printing the American Influence image on the box for there new Banksy burger.
