That's what they said when i was standing in the queue waiting to pay. I remember him not being very happy because he queued up all night to get the single digit prints. They could very well have taken him to one side and agreed to give him low numbers though. I might be wrong but it looked like the same group of people that were standing within the first 10 at the Don't Panic show.

Looking forward to mine arriving but more looking forward to whatever is next as I think we can all agree that there wont be any superheroes involved.

hmmm... didn't a similar thing happen with the don't panic print? i.e first one went for £440 or something and then was relisted and went for about £250? or am i just being massively paranoid?

The stupid thing is that excess flippers will do themselves damage as if the print starts selling above cost, eBay etc will be flooded causing excess supply.

I for one will be keeping my blue version.

I don't have another DFace, but was quite taken with the impact of the piece having gone to multiplied.

I didn't buy it then, but thought about it for a few days.

I understand that people are bored of the hero theme, but for me this is a really striking image and really stands out on the wall as a strong piece of pop art.

Also makes quite a nice statement about the current state of the USA!
In conclusion, what ever the secondary value, people who bought this to keep won't be disappointed.

I am also very impressed with the quality of materials used by DFace and the reasonable price point.

I'm glad most people who seem to genuinely want one managed to get one and I also thought holding some back for our foreign chums was a nice touch.

I think if you look at this image on its own (ie ignore the fact people seem to be bored of the super heros) it is a stunning print and DFace/BRP have done themselves proud.

Nothing worse than forking out for something that disappoints.

Obviously you have seen the image, but I think you will be pleasantly suprised by paper quality a vibrancy of colour.

If you have the right room, definately a piece to put in a prominant position!

By disappointed I mean opening a tune to find a crappy photocopy quality image on poor quality paper!

Right, got it. I'd been reading some of the "not another superhero" posts and that was where the disappointed bit came from. I had heard the print was quite stunning and the pics don't do it justice, glad to hear that's the case. And I've definitely got a good spot on the wall picked out.

Sorry to be a pain, and I have not read any of the earlier 11 pages of this thread but to the "it looks better in person" comment. I have seen the blue version and it looks like it should, there is nothing better or magical about it. it is what it is (what it says on the tin).
Its a superman print with some bones and a d*face signature.
Lets not go overboard here. Its not one of his best.
