The original POW email sent advertising this print stated: "You may be interested to know that we have a rather special new super limited edition Banksy/Dface print available from 6pm today Friday 27th August 2004"
I bought print number 41 from POW when they came out for £99 and on the reverse there is a giant red cross. I think this was due to the fact that the Royal Mint got a bit upset after a guy threw out a massive stack of the individual notes at Notting Hill carnival and people subsequently tried to spend them. Someone recently sold an uncut sheet of these on ebay (unsigned) he said he got them from a friend who worked at POW (Item number 250072448453) curious to know how many of these unsigned ones went out. (or if it was counterfeit- imagine that - fake fake money!) artificialgallery.co.uk are selling number 1 of the 32 artist proofs for £8,500. It's a bit cheeky that the POW site stated at the time they went on sale that "only 50 of these prints exist" if they'd already done a run of 32 'artists proofs'

I think it was A3 in size and to be honest it was a fun idea idea, but shouldn't have been sold. I decided to sell mine having seen the ridiculous amounts people were getting for it.

Ditto as Monochrome. I owned one of these but it basically seemed like a signed photocopy so I got rid of it sharpish. It was marketed as a joint venture with Dface but was only signed by Banksy.

do you have any idea of how much it could be sold now ?

for a single not that is ;D the whole sheet is for sale at Laz inc gallery for 1750, but it's been there a long time.

Er, beware putting too good quality an image as this would be all too simple, and very sad, to fake... The originals were only sold by POW at Santas Ghetto in 2004 and i dont think theyve sold any since, perhaps POW would chime in here....?

trust me, they were photocopies - nothing special about them wahtsoever.

that was my copy, that i subsequently sold - and have no shame in saying that i did either as i felt i was getting ripped off.

maybe they are signed, but they are still photocopies. i reckon on a canon CLC1180 ;D

Have seen most of the a/p's from the 32 edition. Each one is different, so they are definitely not photocopies. No one sheet is the same - some are pink, some look like the colour of a real tenner - each is therefore unique and not a 'photocopy'. Each a/p is what is it is - a UNIQUE proof. Artificial will confirm this, as will Laz...

What do you think is a good going rate for a signed Banksy print of Princess Di-Fced Tenenrs (edition of 50)? One sold on ebay a couple of months ago for 37,000.00 (US), and I'm sure there was something fishy about that sale. What would be a reasonable price for this print?

BIN for 6500 on flea bay, looks cheap with the way things are going!

Sig / date and numbering look good, the seller has a history of selling good and rare stuff, no reason to believe its anything but good, he has been selling some high calibre goods in the last few weeks.
