I'm mates with the guys in British Sea Power and they are looking for an unusual venue for their album launch in mid January. It must hold at least 100, but pref have room for 2,000. Museums, lighthouses, unusual places etc in the UK. Any thoughts? Thanks.
I wonder if you can hire an oil tanker in dock for the night ?

British Sea Power, by Deleted on Jan 20, 2011 18:06:03 GMT 1, i've seen BSP a couple of times. Decent band. Especially good when supporting 'The Flaming Lips'. The second album had some good stuff on too.
In terms of venues, they normally make where ever they play their own anyway, but I would highly recommend Brandon Hill St Georges in Bristol. It normally just does classical music. But i've see Bjork and The Tindersticks there. Both great gigs. The buildings stunning, sounds great too. Failing that there are some boats that can have live music in Bristol and being BSP wouldn't be too bad an idea to play on the water in one of them. If you want to chat about them, pm me.
