Not a bad start for your first solo show. 34 original works at $4k each works out at $136k. Not bad for a gallery full of cliches.
I guess the smaller works were cheaper, still shocked they sold out on night 1. Maybe they had the right guest list, but 4k can get you pieces of art by people that will in the future will be considered pioneers of the scene.

It's been a busy week around here with our 2nd new release in less than 1 week. Above just returned from his 3-month long "Down under" tour in Australia. While he was there he made his first ever solo show in Sydney, Australia titled "Here today gone tomorrow." His solo show sold out the opening night and the only pieces of works that were left were the hanging poster installations that were not for sale but for decoration. Above returned to the United States last week and brought with him 120 posters from his show. We are proud to introduce the "Here Today Gone Tomorrow (H.T.G.T.) Series. There are a total of 6 different celebrities in this series; Jimi Hendrix, Princess Diana, The Notorious B.I.G., Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, and Marilyn Monroe. It always seems to sell out without people posting positive comments publicly. Which usually means there's nothing positive to say! He must have some crazy loyal customers on the mailing list. Above is making only 15 of these deluxe boxes for his soon to be released book titled Passport. Above screen printed the title and passport stamps onto these wooden strips that will then be composed to build the frame of the deluxe box. Process photos to continue as Above finishes printing, building, and detailing each stage of his new edition. Sean Connery seen here is to be the front cover of the larger arrow box that will enclose the 5 smaller celebrity arrows inside. As with last years 1950 Hollywood set the 1960 edition will be the same edition size of just 10 arrow boxes.
