just got back from there, picked up a few neckfaces, one for me, one for a friend....

there were two decent big pieces (like 3x4'), but both sold before the show started. the rest were all prints...listed $500 for the prints, i think it was for all 9 or so of them....shep and amanda were there, they were both very nice and corgial as always. shep was explaining his art and process to a couple of guys who (no joke) were unfamiliar with his work. Shep was very patient and probably spent 15 minutes with the dudes. i thought that was very cool of shep to do that.....considering all the gallery people and art insiders clamoring for his attention.

the faile's were limited to 12 (they got 6, faile got 6) and were $2800 and $3k respectively. i like the collage one ($3k), but im really not a faile fan...and the GF was not too keen on me dropping the cash when she'd rather me pick up a larger soto or something for the same amount. if it was a year ago, and $1500, it would have been mine.

the neckface's were an edition of 100, each uniquely colored. alex was there and signed them for me, didnt number them though. they were $200 each, which was quite reasonable i thought.

listers? didnt notice any....

buffmonster was there, first time i had ever seen him when he wasnt wearing a large shirt or jacket with "buffmonster" scrawled across it, haha.
