Seller kindly accepted my first offer of $1200 USD. Someone else offered me one for $3000. Whoever bought a ton of them is gonna be stuck holding for a while Iโd say. I couldnโt be happier with mine but you canโt deny that the issues with the edition including condition, subject matter, lettering on the right, ambiguity in the edition, and wall space required to show the whole thing make it a difficult flip. When that person realizes this I hope some other people will have a chance at the set, it is really nice.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't get the feeling that a big block got sold to one person. I picked a set up and went back and forth with alinari a bit. My sense was that there were not many to start with. It also seemed like a lot of forum members picked one up.
I don't think it is that tough a sell (although that is not my intention). It's a bona fide Lichtenstein print. Maybe if someone expected thousands for it.... It is a tough one to get on the wall though! Even a cheapish archival framing job would cost more than the print. They are huge. Would look stunning in a restaurant (steak - hah!). Tougher in a Victorian semi.

Some great pieces on show, and although knew little, was great to see this fella's art, quite something.

I have the book โA Retrospectiveโ too. Itโs a good size (367 pages). Published by the Tate. The colours in the printing look excellent to me. Iโd recommend it too.
