Dran • Exhibit Monkey, by gibbin82 on Dec 16, 2010 15:30:45 GMT 1, Failing anybody getting one for me (which I know is very cheeky, but please forgive me for trying anything when desperate) could someone let me know what time Berwick Street opens and closes and if possible how many there are left towards the end of the day. It wasn't planned but I want one of these so badly I will travel down tomorrow if it is going to be worth it, but as I have now missed out three times with this print (first when my email arrived after the unavailable notice went up, then when I phoned up POW and the remaining one/two were put up and despite me knowing it was going to happen I still got beat to it and then when I was offered one on here by pm but it got sold before I replied). I couldn't bear it if I did travel down and missed out again. Although there maybe plenty of lurkers here waiting for Banksy's to appear (for profit), and although I appreciate Banksy, Drans prints are the ones that really do it for me (Banksys street art is great but IMO the most recent prints are not). Again IMO Banksys prints do not say so much as they used to though, although the "Choose Your Weapon" on reflection says a lot about the way they were sold the other day and the crooks (IMO) who got them to sell for big profit.

Maybe though if you give them a call they might be able to put one aside if you are travelling over specially for one

Anyway after getting totally lost trying to find both Marks & Spencers and POW I managed to get the last Exibit print and also bought one of the "I have chalks". Just need a bit of wall space now . Anyone who may have missed out on the Exhibit print might like to know there are still about 18 "Chalks" prints left about a dozen of these are not framed, so maybe they might post these if asked, or possibly they may be made available online after the show officially finishes. The shop has a .pdf of the remaining unframed "I have chalks" prints.

Nice work Gibbin. Picked up my Chalks and Exhibit yesterday too. Got home around 9pm last night. Also, looks like I'm going to get a nice fat fine from Boris as I parked my car out front momentarily as I had no idea where to park, so it looks like I've already paid a flippers price for mine. Chalks looks amazing, just need to decide who he replaces on the wall. Haven't opened Exhibit yet as the dog and parrot seemed a little too interested in the framed one when I got home last night for me to risk it.

Would be interested to see what people do in terms of framing. Am wondering if I should have them framed to match my I have Chalks, though they wont necessarily all hang in the same room.

Dran • Exhibit Monkey, by gibbin82 on Dec 18, 2010 23:12:03 GMT 1, Just arrived back home (9:40pm) from my second trip to London in two days, this time to get a "Learning to Fly" print, haven't even took the print out of the envelope yet. Pretty tired after a 7 hour 45 min drive along country lanes to avoid all of the motorways and major road which according to the various radio updates had become due to the snow a huge car park full of abandoned cars and jack knifed HGV's, at least though I kept moving at all timesa (sometimes sidewards!), and despite the early start (6:00am) and late finish I am realy happy I managed to get a print and the new book signed, what a nice chap Dran seems to be, much younger than I expected and my lady thought he was very charming. I also managed to get a bonus freshly printed bookmark only £10 and signed. Thanks POW (Marks & Stencils) and nice to meet all the friendly people in the queue, hope to see you all again sometime.
