Agent Provocateur π¬π§ Street Art β’ Herrods β’ Stencil Art, by Agent Provocateur on Jan 26, 2009 18:46:26 GMT 1, Having been locked away in APHQ with the packaging elves for far too long I thought it about time I showed people in the real world what I have been getting up to.
Some of you may be aware at the end of last year I managed to get off my lazy arse and have some fun at Upfest in Bristol. I cut a few new stencils for the event, with my thinking being to include them in a series during 2009.
Circus was the theme, The Ringmaster the man in charge and an odd assortment of performers would follow his lead. The images below show some of the small newspaper pieces I gave away at Upfest and a selection of preliminary sketches for the characters.
I have also updated my website www.aprovocateur.co.uk with these images if you'd like to see them scrolling across your screen! But here they are if you can't be arsed...
There are some interesting things on the AP horizon, with various little canvases and cardboard pieces in production as we speak... which may or may not be hung in a group show not too far distant ;D Can't say any more, mums the word and all that!
Keep coming back because I'll try and add new work on an irregular basis! 
It'd be great to get some feedback and comments.

Coach, the new work is going to still be stencil based but with a slight mixed media edge... with possibly more texture and marks to follow.
I'm trying to learn, adapt and try to improve my skills and of course make my paintings more interesting ;D
