I suppose that would make some form of sense. I also doubt for a second that the staff feel an ounce of guilt as they sneakily glance at the freezing, hungry, tired, p***** off crowd from the warmth of the POW shop floor.

Last year they locked up and went home around 8/9 ish after giving those in the queue a number of their place in the queue to prevent pushing in.
Then the Security arrived about 4am to ensure everyone was Ok

Last year it was a very mild 8 degrees for camping out, much warmer than this year.

is it confirmed that there is a shop release or is it still more of a speculation?

Been thinking about this, two words 'treasure hunt'. Get folks tramping around town, hunting down a tea shack/ antique shop, stuffed hobo etc who will give you a ticket, come back and buy.

As I think I may go for this one, as I don't have the money to buy secondary anymore, I could do with getting my self halfway organized in advance.

Last queue i did was the Mic one, and that was kinda fun with some cool people, so think i could brave a cold night with my wooly hat

If there is in fact a shop release, can anyone let me know the possible venues? Oh and possible dates would be useful or could it be anytime? In previous years was it during the week?

Just taken the dog for a late evening walk for 30 mins, and at this point i will state the bleedin' obvious, f**k me it was cold. Based on this dog walking experience i have decided that for the queue i will need at least two balaclavas on me head. As it happens i own 3 balaclavas [from shot gun days] so prepared to go to 3 if i have to. Thermals goes without saying and luckilly i bought those thermal/under garment ski wear things tops & leggings from Aldi ages ago so they should see me okay - i'll be going for very loose clothing so that i can wear lots of layers (no skinny jeans for me, no sir). Thick coat (obviously) but may have to take a pacamac in my pocket in case of snowfall (can't be doing with wet clothing as that will see me off). Additional to this i will have a flask of Jack Daniels to help see me through the evening - only sips mind, don't want to be guzzling me drink and be turning-up at the POW store (or wherever it is) all drunk and winking and saying to Dora ''ello love, any chance of two instead of the standard issue of one?'. Finally i am thinking of buying some incontinence equipment to wear (or attach, not sure how they work yet) to ensure i never have to leave the queue for a toilet moment - additional reason for wearing baggy trousers me thinks. You never know, peeing in me pants may even contribute to keeping me warm throughout the night - may even save my life.

I doubt it will be this weekend as it's Dran's print release on Thurs. They've been bigging up Dran's release and surely will give a good week of sales before killing it with the Banksy release. Similar pattern last year, Dran in week 1 Dec and Banksy the following.

This is fine for everyone who live within the London area but us northern lot need time to get down there. Im fine with queing but please please give us notice greater then 24 hours so we can get down there.

Do you have a much higher chance of getting a Banksy print if your Index finger is longer than your Ring finger?
