Banksy • Choose Your Weapon, GREY Queue Jumping, by saint on Jan 26, 2011 11:30:28 GMT 1, i guess their intentions were good, they wanted to stop people flipping. It didnt work...
Also £50 against a print worth thousands? hardly greedy, greedy would be if they upped the price to reflect secondary market value from source, imo of course.

And as you say, the old days you got your COA for free....

Really? If they sold 300 COA's, thats £15000!

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon, GREY Queue Jumping, by truetiger on Jan 26, 2011 17:20:33 GMT 1, Did you buy from POW? Your worried they might have sold you a fake? The only reason anyone applies for a coa when they got a print direct is to sell or with a view to sell in near future. Not so sure you will get lucky in banksy lotteries any time soon if you apply now.
Really? Hmmmm

I don't agree HH (and agree with most of your posts mate). I think it's clear that POW have the price dictated to them on release by the artist and they'd get a % of this I'd guess.
So they compromise their sales in order to retain the artist?
Issuing COA's costs time, therefore money and they're a commercial operation operating out of a fairly prime location with representative rent.
Buyer and seller dictates what a 'fair' price is for this print which is less than one month old and cost £450.00 and was won in a raffle.

there have been 2 or 3 on eBay and some have been traded openly on here. it's fair to say the same percentage of the edition have been parted with as any other of the editions, with the exception of G/S and RGB?
