Banksy • Choose Your Weapon, GREY Queue Jumping, by I like pictures on Dec 16, 2010 13:57:29 GMT 1, If pow send these out based on a email story, its open to abuse. Anyone could stick an email together about there queue nightmare and humiliation and how if it hadn't been for a punch in face or abuse from a pole or queue jumpers they would have had a print and they feel incredibly let down by them. You'll see enough of them on the bay to validate the ease of abuse this is open too I reckon.

How do they know the emails are geniune? they should reply with Hard luck, better luck next time. It seems as if some people think POW owe them something, they are a buisiness at the end of the day.

Think they were taking email addys off people in the morning at POW, it's more likely that they'll get the print as apposed to someone blagging it on an email.

I’m sorry but all the prints from the newest release have been allocated. The print allocations were based on eye witness statements taken at Commercial Street by a member of staff.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon, GREY Queue Jumping, by pezlow on Dec 16, 2010 15:03:10 GMT 1, It does feel that POW can't win whatever they do. There was no end of moaning on here from people about pusher inners and about POW failing to do anything about it. So they do what I am sure we would all agree is the right thing and give a new edition of prints to those people they can establish were genuinely aggrieved. Just like the Grey NOLA they have attempted to do the right thing.
Yet still people aren't happy. As I have said before if I was banksy I wouldn't bother doing any more limited edition prints. The hassle that he and POW get just can't be worth it.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon, GREY Queue Jumping, by hlarmy on Dec 16, 2010 15:14:39 GMT 1, You will never stop flippers - they wil nearly always find a way of getting involved (although I agree that a raffle where one has to pay for tickets will reduce this significantly as is without doubt the way forward).
What I will say is that you can limit their 'profit' - please please do not buy this print for at least one month - prices are over-hyped at the moment and will only head south. I'm sure very very few people out there are desperate for this print so just be patient and save yourself a grand. The market will settle and the market price will be based on supply and demand, which going by the demand for this print is likely to be £2k+ but not much more so hold of buying this until. Feel free to disagree but these are my thoughts....

Trying not to get dragged into this but sorry that's completely untrue. I can vouch for at least 6/7 of them chatting with Simon (forum members on here probably reading this) who definately queued all night and were robbed of a print.
Can you prove that you weren't part of the group that pushed in Saturday Morning? Lets leave it there eh

Should say well done to those that scored a warm grey (those who deserved it), i guess we'll see what goes on ebay. IMO warm grey is the worst of the bunch and they're all pretty shocking so....
Now, who fancies selling me one? ;D

Ok rephrase, missed out on a print due to being pushed further back in the queue.
Agree. I really hope none of these get flipped too, I genuinely would like to think most landed in good hands.
