Exactly, I have seen three of these in the flesh Bright Purple, Light Orange and Yellow all look so much better than the pics you see online and I am sure the grey will be awesome also.

It was Slate Zim so slightly darker green than the Khaki. I'm not going to rush into framing it just yet I'm trying to get some more consistency in what I hang. If I decide to swap it, I think the blue is the only colour I would consider as I feel it may work better with the VLH and Trolleys (or is that a bit overkill on the blue, maybe - anyway, I've got time on my hands). A good idea of a thread and certainly nothing wrong with it in my eyes...

It's like antiques roadshow (not that i watch it of course - ahem).. Good luck getting a purple one?? No one is going to kill themselves if they can't get a 'purple,' 'pink,' 'turqoise,' etc. You really think any one of these "low editions of 25" will never see the light of day? Doubt it. Even if you are a "true fan" these are nothing but a commodity at this point.
And you say younever see a VLH or Nola ... huh!? Numerous copies of each have sold on ebay and in auction houses this year. And BOTH of these prints are a smaller edition than CYW. You will see these prints tossed on ebay every month for years to come.
And don't think that these prints bought at auction won't be sold again because they've been bought by "true fans." If anything buying at the higher auction/ebay costs mean they're more of a liability and strain on your finances than those who got them for nothing at source. And those who got them for nothing will always see ยฃยฃยฃ when they look at this print and consider it a prize winning. Beyond that what happens when people divorce, die, grow up, get over the fad?
