Sets the price!. . But it has indeed set the price between at least two (perhaps uninformed) bidders who may have let ego and emotions get the better of them today. It will be interesting to see what impact, if any, this may have on the results for the Banksy works on sale at Phillips tomorrow.

The Khaki is from a marginally smaller edition of 25 but there seems to be a prestige or cachet for the QJG that the Khaki probably doesn't attract. You might find therefore that there's an improved chance of a better price on your'n.

Same seems to be true of Kate while many of the other images play a game of catch up price wise. There is such pricing disparity by color for CYW that it's tough to comment on the entire edition in general terms. FR, I would have guessed 12-13 for QJG and a quick read of this thread suggests the same. good luck |
