No its just a good design recipe, You would never put red and green together for instance as they are contrasting colours. Complimentary colours are fine. Maybe its just the gold frame, i just think gold frames cheapen images (imo) same with silver frames.
Just to say that MFM is an awesome framer, it might have been at the request of the 'client'. If not, then its no biggie. Just opinions.

Not a fan of the gold framed cyw but as long as the owner is then all's good. I would have hoped the framer would have had a duty of care to say something but it might have been the client's request

The frame doesn't help but the only thing that would help (IMO) is to hang it backwards, facing the wall. Just because it is rare does not make it nice. I wouldn't hang it on my wall.

Totally agree with Jon here. The frame on the gold CYW is totally distracting. Your eye should focus straight into the print/image. Simple black or white frame/mount works in my opinion.

People only use eBay when prices are high. I'd invest some of this money you're offering in buying a new TV, you'll then be able to view whats happening in the real world.
