Not stupid at all. It's puzzling as most are an edition of 25. You would think they should all cost the same. But the brighter colors seem to demand a higher price. Silver, gold even higher. White would be the most expensive.

White and hand finished white were £20k and £25k on release from what I have learnt here. |

Ideally a grey to replace mine, but will consider other colours.
And just to be clear by backdoor I mean a good copy that is worth nothing more than a few 10s of pounds

Just posting up here to see if anyone with a CYW sat in a drawer wants to buy a frame to put it in.
Story is documented on here.. but to cut a long story short, I had framed then sold before even putting on my wall, so have now removed the Orange CYW shown in the frame, so have no need for it.
Details as follows:
Black Box Frame by MFM
White Mat with Black Filler
Museum Glass
I paid £375 for it, and am looking for only £250 for it.. Further to this Gary has said that for £50 on top, he will put buyers CYW in the frame to Conservation standard..

Rude Copper was indeed printed on stock noticeably thinner and more fragile than what was chosen for later editions.
But what do you mean by "as per many of the early prints"? Besides Rude Copper, in what way is the paper of other early prints rubbish?
