Eelus โข Icarus Print, by tinkicker on Dec 24, 2010 3:44:13 GMT 1, Don't mean to rub it in but this has been a great week for me,like all my Christmas came at the one time!Got really lucky!On Tuesday picked up me banksy in a beautiful snot green colour(which reminded me of a punk and disorderly album from years ago) pure class :-)!And then today got in there and managed to pick up a gold edition of Icarus!Santa didn't come down the chimney !He fuโฌkin fell down it!lol!Treat yourself and get yourself one of the 100 Ed,it's a gem in the flesh,if you don't you will regret it!

How the heck did you get one of those golds!? I was sitting there for hours and refreshing a few minutes before and after release time and instantly gone - no chance at all.

However, the yellow will pair nicely with Nesting, so I'm completely happy with "just" having the standard release. Plus, while the special is assuredly replete with extra Eelus love, the image is what I love, not the sploshy-ness. Again, congrats to anyone who snagged one, looking forward to seeing pics.

I'd be surprised if the Gold were actually offered on the site.. seems all the people I know got a Gold had connections, large eelus collections, advance knowledge etc.. or a cobination of all of those.. Not saying I mind, I have no issue with artists thanking those that hav been there for them before..
I was all over that gold and NEVER saw a cart button, it seriously went straight to sold out.
Again, not sour grapes at all, good on them, just surprised if anyone actually got one from the site at the drop...

I'm inclined to agree with this. With the normal one the add button still showed when all were basketed. If there had been one with the gold version it should have done the same really, at least for a minute whilst buyers checked out. But instead it instantly went to sold out in a refresh.

I honestly think it had to do with the holidays and how much money people had to 'use'... add to that some good releases that came out earlier in the month... I was surprised as well the regular edition sat as long as it did... looking forward to the Gambia print in the new year as I think that'll turn out great too!
Remember, if anyone has a gold please get a hold of me... I have the regular, but would love the gold! haha

I did find out later today that there was one which was cancelled and he added it back to the shop - of course I found this out after and even then it doesnt mean I wouldve been quick enough to get it.
Anyways, if someone was able to get the Gold Edition please get ahold of me... either cash, or the regular version plus cash as I purchased that one.
