Also have mint Jamie Reid Big Red More Love Fuck Forever limited edition print signed and numbered 12/200 which is very difficult to get hold of, and a framed original Stephen Reid from 1973 "Cavorting with the Devil". I am interested in swapping the Jamie Reid for another mint Jamie Reid which my partner will let me frame, ie without the swearing! Open to Offers for the Stephen Reid.

For sale - Jamie Reid's Never Trust A Punk pop edition. Quite special as it is No. 3/750 and signed by Jamie on the reverse. Mint condition. Purchased on opening night of the Jamie Reid show at the Aquarium in January 2007. Had to queue up for this low number. Sorry to see it go but I have the bigger signed version on the wall. £95 + postage. Cheers.

Up for sale is a 1997 printers proof 2/2 of the sex pistols pretty vacant image these were done for Jamie's peace is tough exhibition has the artificial blind stamp on front and copy right on back looking for £700 but open to sensible offers.

I don't know much about the market for J. Reid prints and I'm trying to help out a friend. Where is the best place to sell these (ebay, banksy.info, etc.)?

Love both of these. Big market in Europe for these at the moment. Howlinhooker is on the money with about £300. Maybe £400 on a good day. eBay always good way to dispose of them. Good luck.

These are two iconic Reid prints, which I'd happily hang on my walls.

As others have said, his artwork played such a seminal role in the punk movement and has had a massive influence on design since. I'm certain that he'll be remembered long after most of the street artists discussed on the board are forgotten.

Unfortunately, Reid prints really don't make the money they deserve to at the moment. I think in part because Jamie appears to approach the sale of his work in a rather haphazard fashion. He's had a fairly high output, too many average quality digital prints IMO and he's not shy about releasing variations on a theme. When you buy a Reid you can never be sure that you won't see further variants of essentially the same design at some point in the future (in fact, you can almost bank on the fact that you will). In that sense, very little of his work is truly "limited edition" in nature. Although, given his punk background, it would feel strange if his work was managed in any other way.

I agree that Ebay is probably the best way of selling them, if you're friend is keen to move them on. Personally, I'd hang on to them.

im just in the process of getting most of my 1997 prints framed up these are iconic images ...miles better than the aquarium editions that seem to be always listed on ebay (digital prints) i would keep um or tell your friend to keep um ......its these images that really got me into collecting screenprints (and warhol of course) in the first place JAMIE REID is a major player i m o in the great art world that we all love and hate !!!!!!

I've got a couple of Jamie Reid "Fuck Forever" 1997 Artificial screenprints in yellow and pink colourways, ed.350, but would like to swap one of them for an 'Old Queen' 1997 Artificial ed.200. Pictures below are library pictures (infact I think the pink one is afrokens). The framed up queen one is my mates. I'll try and sort pictures of the actual prints when I can. Will consider any colourway. Ta!
