That was the time of the plague, there's no proof the rhyme existed at that time, thats the whole purpose of the debunking. What it doesn't exclude though, is that the rhyme could still be written about the plague but years later.

Mantis Print ๐ฌ๐ง Street Art โข Art For Sale, by insite on Jul 7, 2007 11:03:20 GMT 1, At last I have something to post in this thread. I was one of the people that was on-line on the 8th when the news of the print got leaked, I shot off a quick mail and Frankie said he'd put one aside for me. A couple of weeks later when everyone started to say they'd paid for theirs I got in touch with Frankie who by this time was inundated with requests, he apologised that he'd forgotten me and over sold the print but said too leave it with him and he'd do his best. We exchanged a few mails, all very cordial, then today when I'd just about given up hope one became available and so I've once more got one on the way.
I don't normally like too say anything until I've got something in hand, just in case, but in this instance I wanted too share my experience of dealing with Frankie with you all. Frankie could have kept this one back and sold it to a mate or even done a deal for more money in a few weeks but he didn't he stuck too his word and did manage too sort me out so fair play to him. If this is how he does business then I can't recommend him highly enough and would happily buy from camp barbara again, thanks Frankie I look forward too being able to praise your product as much as your business practice

I'd like to thank my agent, God, Buddha, Frankie, Mantis, the members of this forum and a special Thanks to Chartwell Gallery Framers in Southchurch road, Southend, Essex for being there for me.....Im welling up here.

That looks mighty fine framed up like that.
I just wish I was a little faster so that I could have gotten one. Anyone think there's a chance for another colorway?

Cool. Good to see another framed. I am blatently gonna rip off that idea with the coa. Left mine in the tube but so much better idea keeping it with the frame.
Very Nice job. Wait till you get it on the wall it's even better. Put mine next to the TV so I'm always looking at it. ;D

Mantis Print ๐ฌ๐ง Street Art โข Art For Sale, by snakes on Jul 7, 2007 14:06:10 GMT 1, I am afraid it is not a good idea as if it gets nicked it makes it much easier to sell knocked off pieces of art if they have their COA. Most people recommend keeping both well separate from one another. Looks bloody good mind you and lovely frame job.

Good point, never thought of it like that. I'm just too trusting. I'd like to see someone "sneak" mine out of my flat though. It's huge!!

Simple but beautifuuly executed. You can tell a good framer by the finish.

Just waiting on a meeting with my accountant on Friday to find out how much tax I'm going to have to pay at the end of the month, it could make all the difference to when mine gets framed.

Thanks for the kind comments all, like I said - Im really pleased with it - took me ages to choose that colour mount - ended up with me, the framer, my GF and the Framers wife all um'ing and ahhing to make a decision.
As for the COA - Im not that bothered to be honest, if my place got burgled and the print gets pinched, I'd have more to worry about than this print. Also, I'd be amazed if I saw it again.
If the COA is with it I can't see how it would make much difference to me.
Have to weigh it up the pros and cons between screwing it up/losing it etc, and having it attached to your frame on the offchance you get burgled.

Knock yourself out CBL - Glad you like it enough to consider something similiar. My framer suggested a black bevel accent funnily enough - he mocked it up and I really liked it - but Im just not that adventurous when it comes to framing lol - I just couldn't make up my mind - so in the end went for the simpler option.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. Art is usually the last thing crack-head burglars are interested in when they break in your gaff.
